




**TITLE:** Academic Coordinator (Central Office) **AREA:** Operations **PILAR**: Education Pillar **REPORTS TO:** Program Manager **STATUS**: ü Part\-Time **CLASSIFICATION (FLSA):** ü Non\-Exempt **GENERAL DESCRIPTION:** Responsible for coordinating the organization's educational program, ensuring compliance with all procedures, policies, program indicators, and quality services, as well as collecting, monitoring, and reporting outcome data. **TASKS AND DETAILED WORK ACTIVITIES:** * Coordinate and oversee the program implementation to meet the goals, objectives, and commitments with the sponsor agency. * Guarantee compliance with the work plan and the programmatic framework in collaboration with the Program Manager. * Support and provide constant feedback to the educational team for programmatic adjustments necessary to ensure compliance with the program. * Conduct monitoring and frequent site visits to ensure programmatic fidelity and high\-quality services. * Validate partnerships with schools to promote the program and to coordinate services for participants. * Write internal communications and generate documents or reports to evidence implementation. * Schedule the monthly training program and monitor professional development metrics. * Participate in program design and methodologies to be applied in learning or enrichment experiences, measurement tools, and other protocols necessary for project implementation. * Attend to organizational meetings, conferences, and activities related to the program in Puerto Rico and/or the United States. * Perform any other task requested by the supervisor. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Guide and support instructional staff, setting performance standards and monitoring progress. * Identify professional development needs and implement training initiatives. * Promote a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous learning. * Coordinate team activities and resolve challenges related to educational delivery. * Ensure safe and effective learning environments through regular monitoring and training. * Recommend personnel actions to support program success. **EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, SKILLS \& KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:** * Master's degree in education, educational leadership, curriculum \& instruction, or related field. * Experience managing educational programs, instructional teams, and federal grants (preferred). * Proficiency in English language communication and academic writing. * Familiarity with strategic planning, resource allocation, and educational leadership. * Ability to analyze data, solve complex problems, and implement evidence\-based solutions. * Skilled in training, mentoring, and developing instructional staff. * Exceptional intrapersonal and interpersonal skills for building effective relationships with staff, partners, and stakeholders. * Capacity to work independently, remain highly organized, and consistently meet deadlines. * Manage Microsoft Office 365 tools and can learn any other technological platform. **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS \& WORK ENVIRONMENT:** * The ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day. * May need to lift up to 15 pounds using proper techniques. * Work may involve travel to educational sites and events. **DISCLAIMER:** * The information presented indicates the general nature and level of work expected of employees in this classification.
