Experience * Minimum of 4 years in similar roles, with proven experience in large-scale mining projects. * Experience in preparation and management of Environmental Impact Reports and related mining project permits. * Knowledge of environmental regulations and permit management. Position location: El Pachón Project – Office in San Juan (on-site mode), with travel to the project site required. **Main job objective** Preparation of the Environmental Impact Report and its updates, necessary for the development of the El Pachón Project, ensuring compliance with provincial and national legal frameworks as well as Glencore’s corporate standards. Ensure timely acquisition of permits according to the project schedule to enable execution of activities/works across all project stages. **Operational context**This role is part of the Permitting & Environmental Studies team, working in close coordination with Engineering, Social, Environmental, Legal, and Contracts areas, as well as with external consultants. Coordinate the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and other technical documents required by authorities, ensuring compliance with provincial and national legal frameworks as well as Glencore’s corporate standards. 2. Supervise the work of external consultants in preparing the EIA and related supplementary technical reports, ensuring consistency and compliance with authority requirements. 3. Conduct review and analysis of environmental baseline studies to ensure their accuracy, relevance, and regulatory compliance. 4. Actively participate in the EIA evaluation and approval process. 5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of environmental considerations into the project. 6. Advise the company on sustainability and environmental responsibility matters. 7.
