This position will be responsible for providing technical and operational support to the Senior Geologist – Database, in managing, organizing, and validating geological and geospatial information within the Exploration area. Additionally, it will collaborate with Management as required, ensuring proper administration, availability, and reliability of geological and cartographic data used by the organization. Key Responsibilities: Review, organize, and validate the Exploration file repository, satellite imagery, and GIS information stored on the corporate SharePoint site. Manage and facilitate access to files, geological and geospatial data for other organizational areas. Generate and update the geodatabase corresponding to the area. Produce technical cartography using ArcGIS for internal area use and corporate requirements. Review and validate information in exploration geological databases (Excel, Acquire, Arena). Provide support in preparing technical reports, presentations for regulatory authorities, and reviewing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA). Manage access for external consultants and contractors to upload information into the document repository. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related disciplines. Experience in mining exploration. Experience in handling, managing, and validating geological and operational information. Experience in administration and maintenance of geodatabases. Proficiency in GIS software, especially ArcGIS and QGIS. Production and preparation of technical cartography. Proficiency in geological databases. Preparation of technical reports. Preparation of documentation and deliverables for regulatory agencies. Knowledge of applicable technical standards and regulations.
