




Job Summary: Wood is seeking an Electrical Pre-Commissioning Engineer responsible for safety during Commissioning and Start-Up activities, including LOTO procedures and risk analysis. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead and execute LOTO procedures during Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning phases. 2. Develop and implement LOTO procedures for energized testing. 3. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with applicable standards. Wood is seeking an experienced Pre-Commissioning Engineer for the mining industry to work in Catamarca under a roster arrangement, with an estimated duration of 3 months. **The Role** The Permitting LOTO Lead is responsible for ensuring that all Commissioning and Start-Up activities are carried out safely, in full compliance with the company's current procedures, and incorporating any necessary procedures to meet new construction phases. Commissioning and Start-Up will include new scenarios involving energized work. In-depth knowledge of Argentine occupational health and safety legislation (Law No. 19587 / Resolution No. 345) and ISO 45001\. Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies. * Solid understanding of electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC). * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and drawings. * Excellent communication skills. * Strong training and supervision capabilities. * Certifications will be valued. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
