We are strengthening our team and looking for a **Data Infrastructure Architect** to join the IT Patagonia community. \#Bepatagonian **Role Description:** We are seeking a Senior or Semi-Senior **Data Infrastructure Engineer/Architect** to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of data analysis and management infrastructure solutions in on\-premise and cloud environments. The role requires a comprehensive architectural vision, strong focus on scalability, security, and performance, as well as the ability to interact with multiple technical and business teams within an agile environment. **Responsibilities:** * Design, implement, manage, and maintain data and database infrastructure solutions for business applications, BI, Data Lake, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and reliability. * Manage and coordinate providers related to products handled by the area. * Collaborate with solution and software architects, analysts, data scientists, and engineers to understand requirements and define appropriate infrastructure in public or private cloud. * Design, implement, maintain, and monitor large\-scale data processing systems (Data Warehousing, Big Data, Hadoop, among others). * Implement and manage ETL/ELT tools such as Cloudera NiFi, Informatica PowerCenter, or similar. * Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of solutions based on Linux virtual servers or containers (Docker), including ecosystems such as Teradata, Strategy, Cloudera NiFi, AzureML, AWS/Azure for Data Lake, metadata, Kafka, and others. * Execute implementation, migration, support, and tuning processes for data storage platforms, as well as data and logs integration. * Migrate and upgrade BI platforms (such as Teradata and Strategy) to new versions and architectures. * Work under Agile methodologies (Kanban/Scrum) using Jira boards, continuously interacting with development, security, and operations teams. * Coordinate internal and external bank resources to ensure proper product functionality and project execution. **Desirable (non-excluding):** * Experience administering Linux and Windows servers. * Knowledge of scripting (bash). * Experience managing incidents with external providers. * Experience with open\-source ecosystems and SaaS (cloud) solutions. * Practical knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies. * Ability to estimate effort, prioritize tasks, and meet objectives in banking projects. * Experience designing and implementing infrastructure for Near Real Time data solutions, ensuring security and scalability. **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Experience in enterprise technology infrastructure, implementation, and maintenance of operating systems, servers, web, and databases in continuous delivery contexts. * Previous experience as a sysadmin or similar roles applied to data infrastructure. * Preferred knowledge in statistics, Machine Learning, and associated methodologies. * Certifications related to data management, cloud, and on\-premise solutions (desirable). * Experience working in interdisciplinary teams.
