The selected candidate will assist higher-qualified peers in workshop or field operations. Acquires knowledge of Caterpillar machinery, similar brands or other equipment represented by Finning, to carry out more complex tasks in the future. Participates in the removal and installation of major components under direct or indirect supervision depending on the complexity of the assigned task in workshop/field. Main Responsibilities:* Clean parts * Maintain work area clean and organized * Collaborate with more experienced employees * Place spare parts orders * Analyze written materials such as service manuals, parts catalogs, and mechanical maintenance forms * Analyze written materials such as service manuals, parts catalogs, and mechanical maintenance forms * Remove and install external components such as hoods, guards, counterweights, panels, etc. * Perform removal and installation of major components such as hydraulic valves, engines, transmissions, major machine components, drive shafts, etc. * Assemble and disassemble minor components * Conduct basic machine diagnostics through visual inspection of equipment * Carry out activities following SHEQ management instructions and actively participate in specific SHEQ actions relevant to their area (ref. PRO.HS.01\.02 Responsibility for Risk Prevention and Environmental Management), in order to comply with the Risk Prevention and Sustainable Management Policy. Knowledge and Experience:* Graduate professional technician from an Institute or University, specializing in automotive mechanics, electronics or electrical systems; * Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles; * Teamwork orientation, willingness to learn and collaborate with peers. Commitment to safety regulations and environmental protection. * Availability to work under a 14x14 roster schedule. * Must reside in Santa Cruz province.
