Supervise goods receipt from suppliers and distribution centers, verifying order fulfillment and established standards. Monitor and control temperatures of refrigerated chambers, refrigerators, and display units, immediately reporting deviations. Manage storage, restocking, and product rotation according to FIFO principles and food safety standards. Ensure proper product display, front-facing presentation, pricing, promotions, and commercial signage within the department. Control expiration dates, seizures, shrinkage, and returns, minimizing losses and waste. Manage inventories and stock, preparing reports and records in the system. Supervise compliance with good food handling practices and food safety regulations. Coordinate responses during audits and inspections by regulatory agencies. Supervise the use, condition, and maintenance of equipment (chambers, refrigerators, display units, machinery). Identify and manage pest-related issues, coordinating corrective actions. Lead, coordinate, and evaluate the department’s operational team and external staff (stock clerks). Conduct onboarding, performance monitoring, and training for assigned personnel. Analyze competitors, pricing, shrinkage, and profitability to support commercial initiatives. Ensure safeguarding of mandatory documentation for the department. Collaborate with other branch departments and carry out tasks assigned by management. Requirements: Technical degree in Marketing or related fields. Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar roles within supermarkets / food retail (mandatory). Experience leading operational teams. Proficiency in management systems (SAP). Knowledge of food quality and safety standards. Techniques for restocking, rotation, and product display. Inventory, stock, and shrinkage control. Commercial knowledge and promotional activities.
