Accounting Assistant

A distinguished company in the gas sector in Argentina is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join its team. Job Responsibilities: - Record and monitor daily accounting transactions, ensuring proper account allocation and compliance with internal procedures. - Manage invoicing, credit notes, debit entries, and commercial documentation related to suppliers and customers. - Perform bank reconciliations, accounting account analyses, and track outstanding balances. - Assist in preparing financial reports, monthly reports, and accounting closings. - Support the department in budget preparation, projections, and variance analysis. - Maintain up-to-date accounting records and supporting documentation for operations, ensuring accuracy and traceability. - Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing required information for various agencies. - Coordinate administrative tasks related to payments, collections, and supplier management. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative and accounting processes by proposing solutions that enhance departmental efficiency. Requirements: - Degree or advanced studies in Accounting, Administration, Economics, or related fields. - Previous experience in accounting or administrative roles (preferably in service companies or the energy sector, though not mandatory). - Knowledge of current tax and accounting regulations in Argentina. - Proficiency in management systems, accounting software, and computer tools (advanced Excel desirable). - Analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive information. - Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
