Structured as a matrix organization of six geographic regions and ten platforms, Louis Dreyfus Company operates in over 100 countries and employs approximately 18,000 people globally. **Job Description** We are seeking a Research Analyst to estimate production of Argentina's main crops (wheat, corn, and soybeans), conducting comprehensive monitoring from pre-planting through harvest. The role combines data analysis, fieldwork, and crop monitoring with the objective of generating accurate production estimates and market analysis. **Responsibilities:** * Estimate production of Argentina's main crops by monitoring their development from pre-planting to harvest. * Analyze agricultural margins and crop performance. * Monitor weather conditions and their impact on crops. * Conduct field yield estimations and satellite imagery analysis. * Prepare reports and data visualizations using Data Science and GIS tools. * Combine office and field work, including visits to crop fields across different provinces. **Qualifications** **Requirements:** * Graduated agronomists or those close to graduation. * Availability to travel between November and April within the country (Santa Fe, Buenos Aires, Entre Rios, La Pampa, Cordoba, Chaco, Santiago del Estero). * Mandatory driver's license. * Proficiency in GIS tools – not mandatory but preferred. * Knowledge of Data Science: Power BI, database management, and basic programming (Python or similar). * Crop experience desirable, especially with wheat, corn, and soybeans. * Experience driving and availability for fieldwork. **Primary Location:** Rosario, with availability for internal travel. **Conditions:** * 6-month fixed-term contract.
