By joining our team, you and your colleagues will be key contributors to the success of Yara’s local value chain by building excellent relationships with our commercial organization, partners, and customers. **Supply Chain** The Supply Chain area creates value by leveraging Yara’s knowledge and scale through global procurement, asset optimization, and efficient supply chain operations. **Responsibilities** -------------------- **Strategy** * Manage the procurement strategy for inputs, materials, and services, ensuring timely and efficient supply for operations. * Analyze, evaluate, and compare supplier offers, securing optimal conditions regarding price, quality, delivery timelines, and service levels. * Manage tendering processes, negotiations, and contracting of goods and services, including monitoring active contracts, renewals, and compliance with agreed terms. * Ensure compliance with quality, quantity, and delivery timelines for procured goods and services. * Oversee the end-to-end procurement process for goods and services, from requisition to conforming receipt. * Ensure compliance with Yara’s Procurement Directive, Global Operating Model, Authorization Matrix, and Yara IDD practices and anti-corruption policies. * Manage and develop supplier relationships, identifying opportunities for improvement, efficiency, negotiation, and risk reduction. * Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial) to ensure proper understanding and fulfillment of procurement requirements. * Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery times, costs, and sustainability criteria. * Conduct on-site visits to monitor packaging stock levels, understand operational workflows, detect deviations early, and align with the Operations team. * Manage and track the Packaging forecast (MRP / ID), ensuring consistency among system data, planning, and physical stock. * Lead purchasing area controls, including development, maintenance, and analysis of departmental dashboards (KPIs). * Lead and coordinate the savings group, identifying cost-optimization initiatives, tracking results, and reporting savings. **Business Performance** * Track departmental KPIs to assess efficiency and cost optimization. * Support tracking and share evaluations of all suppliers. * Responsible for pre-qualification and annual/semi-annual evaluation of suppliers and contractors. **Optimization** * Ensure effective, on-time deliveries through collaboration with internal customers and suppliers. * Gather supplier information to fulfill Yara’s defined due diligence process. Provide all suppliers with Yara’s Code of Conduct and HESQ Manual. **HESQ Management** Know and comply with the Company’s HESQ Policy, Safety Principles, guidelines, and standards, based on the Safe by Choice philosophy, as well as applicable legal requirements; know and comply with other requirements defined in the HESQ Responsibility Matrix associated with your position/role. * *HESQ: policies related to Health, Safety, Environment, Security, and Quality.* **Profile** ----------- **Education** Bachelor’s degree or final-year student in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields. **Work Experience** Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Procurement. Preferred experience supporting plants, spare parts procurement, industrial services, marketing, and familiarity with technical specifications.
