Role Description** We are seeking a **SQL Server Database Administrator – Semi-Senior** to join our client’s IT team. This role requires technical leadership, a holistic vision, and the ability to support the team in making strategic database decisions within corporate environments. ### **???? Key Responsibilities** * Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server and related products. * Design, create, maintain, and ensure recoverability of SQL Server databases. * Perform capacity planning and storage allocation. * Establish and execute performance monitoring procedures. * Manage access controls and ensure database security. * Provide reliable, scalable, and recoverable environments for the company. * Document, standardize, and implement Microsoft best practices. * Configure and maintain **SQL Server clusters**. * Provide production environment support. * Collaborate with other DBAs on key technical initiatives. ### **✔ Mandatory Skills (Strictly Required)** * +5 years as a SQL Server DBA in Windows environments. * Experience in production environments of medium- or large-sized enterprises. * Experience in **high availability**, replication, and **AlwaysOn Availability Groups**. * Experience with **SQL Server clusters**. * Solid expertise in **backup & recovery**. * Experience in performance tuning. * Advanced knowledge of Windows Server administration. * Experience in monitoring and management using SQL Server tools. * Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
