**Quality Assurance Tester (LATAM, Remote)** ============================================ We are seeking a **Quality Assurance Tester** based in **Latin America** to join a fast\-paced product engineering team supporting a high\-growth US\-based technology organization. This is a long\-term **full\-time contract** role for a QA professional who is detail\-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working closely with distributed teams. The ideal candidate has strong experience testing web applications, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with product, engineering, and technical leadership across time zones. **Key Responsibilities*** Perform manual testing on web\-based applications, ensuring high\-quality releases. * Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases. * Identify, document, and track defects using standard QA tools. * Collaborate daily with product managers, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure clarity on requirements and expected outcomes. * Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. * Validate bug fixes, conduct regression testing, and support release cycles. * Ensure all work meets quality standards and project timelines. **Required Qualifications*** **2–5\+ years of experience** in Software Quality Assurance (manual testing). * Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and software development lifecycle. * Experience testing **web applications** in Agile/Scrum environments. * Ability to work independently and manage testing priorities efficiently. * Excellent **English communication skills** —written and spoken. * Must be located in **LATAM** and able to work **until at least 6 PM EST** (Mon \- Fri). **Nice\-to\-Have Skills*** Experience with QA automation tools or scripting (not required). * Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar test/bug management systems. * Exposure to API testing, cloud platforms, or DevOps workflows. **Contract Details*** **Full\-time contract (40 hrs/week)** * **Remote (LATAM only)** * Required EST time zone overlap until **6 PM EST** * **Compensation Range:** USD **$20–$30 per hour** **Who You Are**You thrive in a **fast\-paced environment** , communicate clearly, and care deeply about delivering high\-quality products.
