Join a group focused on safety and valuing inclusion, based at the Fénix Field, Salar del Hombre Muerto, Catamarca, Argentina. **About the Role** We are seeking an Auxiliary Services Operator responsible for ensuring the proper operation and control of steam, compressed air, and electrical generation production systems, guaranteeing compliance with company standards regarding quality, safety, and efficiency. Prior experience in similar roles within large-scale industrial plants is highly valued. Work will be conducted at the Fénix Field, Salar del Hombre Muerto (Catamarca), under a 7x7 roster schedule. While working under the supervision of the Auxiliary Services Department, in a challenging and exciting environment within the Auxiliary Services Department, you will: * Collaborate in implementing autonomous maintenance—both scheduled and emergency—on plant operating equipment, contributing to efficient operations. * Carry out on-site tasks to maintain the conditions of facilities and workplaces within Auxiliary Services plants. * Assist in operating steam, compressed air, energy, and fuel systems, contributing to their efficient operation. * Implement the company’s defined Safety & Health (S&H) and Environmental procedures and policies. * Implement improvements in Auxiliary Services plants and supporting facilities related to site operations, to achieve objectives set by the Auxiliary Services Department and support continuous improvement. **Role Requirements** * Education: Mechanical, electromechanical, or related field * Experience: Prior experience in similar positions is required, preferably within the mining industry and industrial plants. * Skills: Teamwork, strong problem-solving abilities, organizational skills. **About Rio Tinto** Rio Tinto is a leading global mining and materials company.
