Job Summary: We are seeking a Lathe Operator to join our production team, performing machining, maintenance, and various operations on parts. Key Responsibilities: 1. Machining parts on a lathe 2. Maintenance and cleaning of the lathe and tools 3. Measurement and quality control of parts We are a national company with 50 years of experience in burner manufacturing. Applying cutting-edge technological concepts, we design, manufacture, and market automatic burners and their accessories, meeting all local and international market requirements. We are currently seeking an EXPERIENCED LATHE OPERATOR to join our production team at our QUILMES plant, with a minimum of 5 years’ verifiable experience. Machining parts on a lathe Maintenance and cleaning of the lathe, tools, and work area Initial measurement (to verify that the part is sufficient to meet drawing requirements) and final measurement of the finished part Drill bit sharpening Completion of Route Sheets Welding of parts Drilling of parts Measurement of parts Threading and polishing of parts Requirements: Verifiable experience in similar positions; residence in nearby areas – QUILMES; Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM Salary commensurate with the position under the UOM collective agreement. -Requirements- Minimum education: High school 5 years of experience
