Position Summary: We are seeking a Procurement Manager for a metallurgical industry in Greater Buenos Aires South, responsible for strategic procurement management, purchasing, inventory, planning, supplier management, and economic aspects. We are a metallurgical industry located in Greater Buenos Aires South and are currently seeking a Procurement Manager. The person joining our team will be responsible for: Strategic Procurement Management Define and implement the company's procurement strategy. Establish purchasing policies, standards, and procedures. Develop procurement plans aligned with production planning. Define category-specific procurement strategies. Approve strategic suppliers. Lead supply contract negotiations. Manage critical and high-economic-impact purchases. Purchasing Management Supervise the end-to-end domestic and international procurement process. Approve purchase awards according to authorization levels. Negotiate prices, commercial terms, and payment schedules. Continuously evaluate the supplier market. Promote competitive bidding and quotation processes. Coordinate with Engineering and Production to define technical specifications. Warehouse and Inventory Management Define inventory management policies. Establish minimum, maximum, and safety stock levels. Supervise warehouse operations. Ensure proper receipt, storage, and delivery of materials. Guarantee traceability of all inventory movements. Approve inventory adjustments. Coordinate cyclic and general inventories. Manage obsolete and slow-moving materials. Procurement Planning Coordinate material requirements planning. Analyze consumption forecasts. Monitor adherence to the procurement plan. Reduce urgent purchases. Optimize inventory turnover. Coordinate procurement for Production and Maintenance. Supplier Management Define the supplier development strategy. Qualify new suppliers. Periodically evaluate supplier performance. Implement continuous improvement programs with strategic suppliers. Reduce dependence on sole-source suppliers. Economic Management Manage the annual procurement budget. Monitor price trends. Analyze cost-reduction opportunities. Participate in the procurement budget formulation. Report economic impacts arising from market fluctuations. To fulfill this role, candidates must meet the following requirements: Age: 30 to 50 years Gender: Unrestricted Residence: Greater Buenos Aires South Academic Background: Industrial, Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering. Bachelor’s degree in Administration. Certified Public Accountant with experience in industrial operations. Postgraduate degree or specialization in Supply Chain, Logistics or Procurement (preferred). Experience: Minimum 7 years of industrial procurement experience. At least 3 years leading teams. Experience in manufacturing companies, preferably metallurgical. Experience in inventory and warehouse management. Knowledge of international trade. Experience negotiating with strategic suppliers. Competencies "Organizational Competencies Integrity.
