We are an integrated service provider of infrastructure, IT connectivity, and computing services, specialized in delivering technical support and maintenance to clients without an internal IT department (SMEs, professional offices, printing shops, freelancers, etc.). We are looking to hire a proactive Computer Technician with strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and excellent client-facing presence. This is a part-time position (with flexible working hours) Job Objective: Provide technical support and computer maintenance to clients within CABA, ensuring the proper functioning of their systems, equipment, networks, and servers. The role encompasses two major areas: Hardware and software solutions Preventive and corrective technical support (remote and on-site) Key Responsibilities Perform daily maintenance and repair of computer equipment (PCs, printers, peripherals, etc.) Identify failures and diagnose hardware and software errors Resolve technical incidents (remotely or on-site, as required) Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance (proactive) Install, configure, and update operating systems and applications Support and maintain servers (configuration, operation, access, etc.) Assist with basic networking and connectivity tasks (switches, cabling, internal networks, etc.) Implement IT security tools: antivirus, firewall, antispyware, antispam Manage data protection: backups, replicated copies, physical storage Install and license software according to client needs Engage with clients professionally, communicate clearly, and demonstrate a service-oriented attitude Requirements: You are the ideal candidate if: You have at least 6 months of verifiable experience in hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance Knowledge of peripherals (printers, UPS, workstations, etc.) Knowledge of servers Ability to detect errors and resolve technical issues Relevant academic background (computer science, IT, networking, etc.) Experience or knowledge in networking (basic or advanced) is desirable and will be considered.
