Dow has an opportunity for Operator [Fixed Term] located in Bahia Blanca, Argentina. Operates assigned equipment or plant areas. Performs and reports on operational activities according to a task list. Works with knowledge and experience to proactively operate the plant in a safe, reliable and optimal manner. Uses discretionary time to enable sustainable performance outcomes for the facility. Responsibilities:* Makes adjustments to process equipment within normal operating parameters to achieve plant performance objectives * Issues clear and concise work requests aligned with required value-added criteria. * Uses problem-solving skills, knowledge and resources (guides/procedures, cause-and-effect methodologies, etc.) to resolve process-related deviations and issues. * Applies high reliability organization principles: Identify trends and anticipate impacts, avoid generalizations, expect the unexpected, commit and apply expertise and dedication to clarification. * Prepares equipment for handover to expert colleagues according to EH\&S standards and plant operational discipline. * Communicates activities effectively, along with opportunities and identified issues, to support communication policies and tools Requirements:* Minimum 3 years of industrial experience. * High School Diploma. * Fluent Spanish.
