Dow has an opportunity for an Electrical Operator at its plant located in Bahía Blanca, Argentina, who will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance tasks in a safe, efficient and effective manner. Basic Functions* Reviews work package and verifies if the job can be performed safely * Obtains work permit * Independently performs tasks detailed in the work package and identifies improvement opportunities, documenting and communicating them to the involved work team * Provides technical knowledge to solve problems and develop work procedures * Performs tasks aligned with current safety standards * Supports work plans and procedures within their discipline Technical knowledge and experience in:* Reading, interpreting and understanding single-line and functional diagrams. * Knowledge and correct interpretation of tests. Insulation resistance, understanding what an IP indicates, DAR, ohmic values of PAT resistances, etc. * Knowledge of electrical engineering, units, basic concepts, voltage, current, power, power factor, etc. * Minimum knowledge of protection systems * Operations in MV and LV * Disassembly of MV and LV motors. Failure analysis. Testing * General knowledge of electrical protections * Types of starting and control (VFD\-Soft Starter) * Fault reading on equipment and interpretation of manuals. * Handling documentation both digitally and in libraries, record storage. * Development of repair procedures Required Qualifications* Graduate professional in any technical field; * Proven experience of no less than 10 years in the mechanical area; * Ability to integrate into multidisciplinary work teams.
