We seek a professional who actively participates in identifying and selecting the most appropriate and cost-effective transportation options. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------- * Monitor and track grain and other input transportation from origin to destination. * Participate in identifying and selecting the most appropriate and cost-effective transportation options, applying a foundational understanding of procurement and logistics practices and procedures to support freight rate negotiations and contract terms. * Update databases for contracts, rates, freight estimates, packs, and related information, ensuring accurate records. * Analyze current transportation operations practices to identify opportunities for cost and process improvement. * Manage basic issues and escalate more complex ones to appropriate personnel, working under direct supervision. * Perform other assigned duties. **Qualifications** ------------------ #### **Minimum Requirements** * Experience in logistics, transportation, or procurement—preferably within the agribusiness sector. * Analytical ability to evaluate transportation costs and alternatives. * Negotiation and effective communication skills. * Knowledge of logistics management tools. #LI-AC7 #LI-Hybrid At Cargill, every person matters.
