This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, database administration, and technical operations. Youll work closely with cross\-functional teams, supporting data pipelines, orchestration workflows, and analytics platforms while contributing to the stability, scalability, and continuous improvement of our data ecosystem. **What Youll Be Doing** ----------------------- * Monitor and troubleshoot **databases, data pipelines, workflows, and data warehouses** supporting ETL/ELT processes * Support computational orchestration and automation workflows using **Python\-based tools** * Diagnose platform and data issues, perform **root cause analysis**, and implement preventative solutions * Research and implement modern solutions related to **data processing, analytics, and delivery** * Gain a deep understanding of the data landscape and how it supports business needs * Work in a **ticket\-based environment** with defined SLAs, ensuring timely resolution of issues * Document **SOPs, runbooks, and operational guidelines** for the Technical Operations team **What You Bring** ------------------ ### **Must\-Haves** * Experience in **IT Data Operations**, Data Engineering, or related roles (Semi Senior level) * Strong experience with **SQL**: complex queries, joins, aggregations, and data modeling * Experience administering, managing, and tuning **databases** * Hands\-on experience with **Python** for orchestration, automation, and data manipulation * Experience working with **large\-scale data warehouses** and related technologies * Understanding of **software engineering best practices**, SDLC, and Agile methodologies * Ability to adapt and learn new technologies in a fast\-changing environment * Experience working with **ticketing systems** and SLA\-driven operations **Nice\-to\-Haves** ------------------- * Experience with **AWS services** such as S3, Lambda, and Glue * Experience with **Airflow** and orchestration frameworks * Exposure to **Spark** or distributed data processing tools * Experience with **PostgreSQL** databases * Knowledge of **U.S. healthcare data** and related domains * Familiarity with **data privacy regulations** such as HIPAA and GDPR * Experience with **Snowflake**, including Snowpark and advanced features * Understanding of **Snowflake Data Sharing** capabilities **What Darwoft Offers** ----------------------- * Contractor agreement with payment in USD * 100% remote work * Argentinas public holidays * English classes * Referral program * Access to learning platforms Explore this and other openings at: **www.darwoft.com/careers**
