Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to lead and supervise mining operations, optimizing costs and ensuring achievement of production and safety objectives at Hanaq Group. Ensure compliance with production and safety plans At Hanaq Group, we are currently seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to work on an operational roster 14x14 basis at our Jujuy project. Professional Profile: We seek a graduate Mining Engineer with over 10 years of experience in mining operations, strong technical background, and ability to lead field work teams. The candidate must have experience in short-, medium-, and long-term mine planning, supervision of mining activities, and design of efficient and safe systems, with a focus on cost control and achievement of production objectives. Experience in open-pit blast design and execution, as well as proficiency with management tools supporting continuous operational improvement, will be highly valued. Key Responsibilities Supervise mining activities, ensuring their proper execution in accordance with established plans. Design and implement efficient and safe mining systems, focusing on cost optimization. Ensure compliance with production, development, and safety plans. Efficiently manage field work teams, promoting operational leadership and a safety culture. Coordinate cross-functionally with various technical departments to ensure integrated and efficient operations. Requirements University degree in Mining Engineering (mandatory). Minimum 10 years of experience in mine operations. Knowledge of short-, medium-, and long-term mine planning. Proficiency in mining software: MineSight (currently MinePlan), Datamine, and Vulcan. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Availability to work under a 14x14 roster schedule. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of open-pit blast design and execution. Familiarity with SAP system.
