We are currently seeking a **Purchasing Manager**, responsible for ensuring timely supply of resources and services for business operations, guaranteeing cost efficiency, service quality, and compliance with internal policies and controls. **Employment conditions:** * **Location:** Palermo * **Work mode:** On-site * **Working days and hours:** Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM **Main responsibilities:** * Develop and execute purchasing plans according to compliance policies and business strategies, ensuring proper supply and net savings. * Continuous improvement and optimization of processes from need identification to delivery. Establish policies. * Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers meeting quality standards and pricing targets. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions, including prices, delivery times, and payment terms. * Lead the purchasing team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Set objectives, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations. * Ensure timely and correct receipt of purchases. * Maintain constant interaction with local internal customers, suppliers, and support teams in Spain. * Maintain strong supplier relationships and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms. * Conduct periodic market analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities. * Prepare and deliver all area reports accurately and on time. **What are we looking for?** * Graduates in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Trade, or related fields. * Minimum 10 years of experience in purchasing roles, with at least 5 years leading teams. * Proficiency in management tools and proven experience with Oracle ERP (required). * Prior experience in multinational companies with standardized processes, reporting, and compliance policies. * Intermediate/advanced English proficiency. **Join Verisure and enjoy all these amazing benefits!** Swiss Medical private health insurance for you and your immediate family.
