What is the challenge? As an Anesthesia Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring the operation and maintenance of anesthesia machines for each surgery, assisting the anesthesiologist according to procedural needs. Your mission will be to ensure that equipment, supplies, and materials are available and in proper condition, following strategic safety guidelines and person-centered care principles, thereby contributing to the quality of care delivered by Sanatorio Finochietto. Main Responsibilities Monitor the operation and maintenance of anesthesia machines for each surgery, ensuring correct usage. Maintain inventory levels of supplies in the anesthesia cart and verify expiration dates. Assist the anesthesiologist during surgeries, supporting preparation of the anesthesia workstation and required materials. Send reusable materials to sterilization and retrieve them, ensuring patient safety. Send blood samples to the laboratory for high-complexity surgeries. Report deviations to supervisors, contributing to continuous service improvement. Comply with safety and person-centered care guidelines. Scope and Interaction A role with direct impact on patient safety and quality of care within the Surgical Center Ongoing interaction with anesthesiologists, surgical teams, nursing staff, hemodynamics, and other key departments. Active participation in preparing and managing materials and supplies required for procedures. Requirements Requirements Anesthesia Technician with valid certification and professional license. (Mandatory) Prior experience or internships in healthcare institutions. (Mandatory) Knowledge of anesthesiology. (Mandatory) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. (Desirable) Additional training, conferences, or workshops related to anesthesia.
