We are looking for a SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join a global database administration team at an international investment management firm. The position is 100% remote, working on EST hours and coordinating with teams in London and New York. This role combines responsibilities for administering and maintaining on-premises SQL Server and Snowflake environments (approximately 120 servers), along with operational support duties within a highly dynamic financial environment. **Responsibilities:** Administer and maintain on-premises SQL Server environments (installation, monitoring, backups, security, performance tuning). Manage and support Snowflake environments (roles, users, queries, performance monitoring, cost control). Ensure availability, stability, and performance across more than 120 servers. Monitor systems using dashboards and alerts, following runbooks and defined procedures. Provide operational support to users and global teams (via phone, email, and chat), escalating incidents when necessary. Open and manage tickets with vendors (e.g., Snowflake). Collaborate with teams in London and New York to resolve incidents and coordinate environment changes. Global investment management firm founded in 2017, began managing capital in 2018. Strong expertise in on-premises SQL Server in complex environments. Experience with Snowflake. Advanced English for daily interaction with international teams. Experience in operational support and incident management. Familiarity with Jira or other ticketing tools.
