### **Senior SQL Database Administrator (Ref. 128658)** **Project Overview** We are seeking a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to join the IT team of a banking project! You will assume a key leadership and consulting role within the IT department, responsible for ensuring the proper application of database techniques to guarantee the availability, security, and scalability of corporate information. Your primary role will be to ensure the operational integrity and recoverability of production databases in a high-performance Windows environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide leadership, team vision, and guidance in the proper application of database techniques to meet corporate requirements. * Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server software and related products in Windows environments. * Design, create, maintain, and ensure the recoverability of SQL Server databases. * Perform capacity planning, allocating and scheduling future storage requirements. * Establish and maintain effective database performance monitoring procedures. * Control access, monitor, and maintain database security. * Provide reliable, recoverable, and scalable database environments. * Be responsible for 24/7 support for production databases. * Configure, maintain documentation, and ensure implementation of Microsoft best practices. * Configure and maintain SQL Server clusters. **Required Qualifications and Skills** * More than 10 years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator in Windows environments. * Experience administering databases in medium-to-large enterprises, working in production environments. * Experience designing and implementing highly available and scalable SQL Server solutions. * Expert-level skills in SQL Server backup and recovery. * Extensive experience with replication and AlwaysOn Availability Groups. * Experience with replication in SQL Server clusters. * Strong Windows administration skills. * Extensive experience in performance tuning. * Experience using SQL Server for monitoring and management. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work under pressure. * Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. **Preferred Skills** * Experience working on large-scale, high-profile, revenue-generating projects (preferred). * English proficiency: Basic / Intermediate. **Project Environment and Benefits** * Work model: Hybrid.
