We are currently seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Software Test Engineer to join our team and ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. The Software Test Engineer on the Test Infrastructure team will take ownership of mission\-critical internal tools that support integration and backend test orchestration, result visualization and analysis. Your work will directly impact engineering velocity and software quality across the company. You will collaborate with engineers across teams, designing systems that are robust, observable, and efficient. Responsibilities: * Design, build, and maintain internal tools that power our test infrastructure, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and usability. * Evolve and support our test infrastructure tools, including a test management system, a job orchestration system, and observatory dashboards for monitoring the tools. * Improve system performance, resilience, and usability as test volume and complexity scale * Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product engineering teams to understand testing needs and drive infrastructure improvements. * Ensure high observability, maintainability, and test coverage of the tools you build. * Drive best practices for CI/CD, test automation, and infrastructure reliability. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications* 2\+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend, infrastructure, or platform development * Proficient in Python, Java, REST/GraphQL * Experience with PostgreSQL for relational database operations and query optimization * Familiar with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, automated testing and system observability * Working knowledge of Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration * English proficiency, both oral and written Preferred Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills * Excellent communications and teamwork abilities * Familiarity with Redis * Exposure on building systems that handle asynchronous workloads, job orchestration, or large\-scale automation At Medallia, we celebrate diversity and recognize the value it brings to our customers and employees.
