Because what we create may change, but what we will always do is make a difference. **TOGETHER, WE WANT TO BUILD A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE, FOR THAT...** We are seeking a **Front Maintenance Technician** responsible for performing corrective, preventive, and predictive mechanical maintenance services on Front-End, Back-End, or Tooling equipment, ensuring their proper operating conditions, as well as executing repair and adjustment services through assembly and disassembly of tools and equipment used in manufacturing, repairing or replacing parts and components, aiming for optimal operation and extending equipment lifespan, in addition to managing training and sharing the necessary technical knowledge for employee development. **TO ACHIEVE THE EXTRAORDINARY TOGETHER, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:** * Performing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on mechanical equipment to improve reliability, availability, and efficiency. * Following procedures from the Integrated Management System (IMS) to increase productivity and reduce costs. * Planning and executing monthly preventive maintenance, ensuring control of materials, tools, equipment, and time. * Performing preventive maintenance on parts and tools using checklists to maintain equipment functionality. * Analyzing impacts and improvement opportunities during preventive and corrective maintenance, participating in meetings to minimize losses. * Supporting mechanics and technicians in disassembly, assembly, repair, and replacement of parts, reducing machine downtime. * Guiding and assisting personnel in technical and operational routines to maximize equipment performance. * Assisting the production area in identifying causes of stoppages and improving equipment performance. * Recording all interventions in the SAP system and managing material withdrawals from inventory. * Following up with suppliers, inspecting refurbished parts, and participating in supplier development. * Participating in equipment conversion and adjustment processes, maintaining the work area according to 5S and Lean practices. * Following all safety, occupational health, and environmental standards and procedures, participating in related programs. **TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE TOGETHER, WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:** * Secondary education with a focus on mechanical, electromechanical, or related technical fields (Mandatory) * Knowledge of blueprint creation, hydraulics, pneumatics, spare parts management, comparators, analog micrometer (Mandatory) * Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in industrial maintenance, heavy machinery (Mandatory) **DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:** * Electric and oxyacetylene welding. * Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 22000, and ISO 45001 standards. * Lean Manufacturing tools – 5S, VSM (Value Stream Mapping), Six Sigma, * SMED (Quick Changeover), TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Kaizen. * Basic knowledge of Materials Technology, Mechanics, and Instrumentation. * Basic Statistical Process Control (SPC). * Surface treatment techniques for ferrous materials. * Prior operational experience with BM/Minster/Press machines. **ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:** * Work location: Burzaco, Buenos Aires, Argentina. * Work model: 100% On-site. * Rotating shifts. **TOGETHER WE CAN BE MORE** Develop your career at Ball, the global leader in sustainable aluminum packaging.
