





Job Description: **What does the company do?** **A digital engineering company that since 2009 has been focused on enhancing digital product teams and facilitating digital transformation initiatives.** With over 1,000 employees across five countries (Mexico, Colombia, Bolivia, Argentina, Northern Ireland), its innovative "workflow" approach ensures long-term solutions for clients' digital challenges across various industries such as software development, healthcare, finance, and education, among others. **What do you need to join the team?** On a personal level: * Teamwork * **Results-oriented.** * Creativity * **Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal and external clients.** On a technical level: * **5 years of experience in the role, in Data Architecture and/or Data Engineering.** * **Strong experience in PySpark or Scala.** * Solid knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, MySQL, Manticore). * Experience using cloud platforms (AWS) and developing ETL/ELT processes. * Knowledge of Big Data tools and technologies such as: Airflow, Hadoop, Hive, * Spark, AWS Glue, Amazon EMR * **Advanced English - conversational - Required** **What will you do?** As a **Data Architect**, you will be responsible for: * **Designing and implementing the MDM (Master Data Management) strategy, defining the roadmap, architecture, and core domains (Customer, Product, Supplier).** * **Designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models for MDM solutions, ensuring traceability, quality, and governance of information.** * Defining and maintaining an updated data catalog, ensuring visibility and control over information assets. * Selecting appropriate tools and technologies for MDM solutions, evaluating their scalability and compatibility with the cloud environment. * **Designing scalable integration architectures (A2A) through APIs, messaging, and ETL/ELT patterns, establishing standards for integration, security, and performance.** * **Collaborating with Data Governance teams, establishing policies, rules, and data quality control systems, as well as monitoring and continuous remediation mechanisms.** * Building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and loading of data into MDM hubs and analytical platforms, optimizing both batch processes and real-time integrations. * Configuring and implementing MDM solutions. * **Implementing cloud and Big Data solutions using native AWS services (Kafka, Snowflake, Spark, managed databases) and languages such as Python or Scala.** * **Applying automation and monitoring through CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), setting up alerts and performance reports, data quality, and integrations.** **What is the challenge of the position?** As a **Data Architect**, you will lead the design and implementation of a modern lakehouse on AWS within an organization with large volume and complexity of data. **The challenge involves taking technical ownership, actively participating in building the data architecture and pipelines, and collaborating with business areas to catalog, model, and govern information.** You will play a **key role in transforming towards a governed platform** of high quality, oriented toward analytics and machine learning, driving technological evolution and maturity of the company's data ecosystem. **Who will you work with?** **You will collaborate with cross-functional teams.** **When and where will you work?** **The work arrangement is 100% remote with objective-based management**, allowing you to work from anywhere in Argentina, within an 8-hour daily window. **You must have flexibility to attend meetings in the EST time zone.** **What do they offer?** * **Contractor mode** * **100% remote work** * **Salary in dollars (paid via Deel platform)** **What stages does the selection process involve?** You will have an initial interview with our Recruiter, **Melina Rubio**, to discuss your professional experiences and interests.
