The position will be related to the Processes and Chemicals business unit, located at the technical office in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina. * Review, update and approve procedures and checklists for mechanical discipline deliverables (Reports or Technical Reports, Calculation Memos, Design Criteria, Technical Specifications, Data Sheets, Drawings, Equipment Lists, Quantities or Measurements, Purchase Action Requirements, Technical Evaluations, Supplier Drawing Reviews) * Provide specialized advisory on design processes or construction methods * Provide technical leadership to teams of professionals and non-professional staff * Apply professional judgment in designing practical and economical solutions * Carry out positive interdisciplinary coordination with clients and key suppliers * Establish effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and authorities * Perform other related or complementary duties that enable the comprehensive and timely achievement of the position's and respective area's objectives, in coordination with the Engineering Manager * University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering. * More than 7 years of progressively responsible experience * Experience in Engineering Consulting firms is desirable * Desirable to have completed specialization courses in: + Mechanical Design + Project Management * Strong communication skills at all levels * Leadership * Analytical and synthetic thinking * Ability to organize, plan and make decisions * Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams. * Fluent spoken and written English. * We do not offer relocation Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
