




Job Summary: Tecpetrol is seeking an Operations Technology Engineer to design, supervise, and maintain automation and control systems, provide technical support, and propose improvements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and supervision of automation and control solutions. 2. First-level technical support for control rooms and operations. 3. Proposal of improvements and development of maintenance plans. Tecpetrol seeks an **Operations Technology Engineer** for its operations in Neuquén. Main responsibilities include: * Designing automation and control solutions for new facilities or modifications to existing ones. * Project supervision, loop testing execution, and assistance to PEM. * Generating required engineering documentation for each project. * Developing specific procurement conditions or technical specifications for control systems. * Tracking accounts and certifying technical support services. * Monitoring inventory levels of materials required by projects. * Understanding the automation infrastructure across various field installations to provide timely technical support and fault resolution. * Providing first-level support to the field’s control room and operations room (SCADA: Batteries/Wells/Metering Points; DCS: Plants; SCADAs; F\&GAS; Real-time variable visualization systems). * Supporting clients across various involved systems and equipment in general (e.g., PLC and/or HMI failures in Export Compressors, Recycle Units, Propane Units, Hot Oil Heaters, Fuel Gas Heaters, Plants, Batteries/Wells/Metering Points, etc.). * Performing failure analysis. * Interpreting and maintaining up-to-date documentation related to installations. * Proposing improvements to control systems, both in implementation and design. * Developing and supervising the maintenance plan. ***Information:*** Required Education: Electronic Engineering; Electromechanical Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Mechanical Engineering. Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and programming logic for control equipment and field communications (mandatory). Knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens and Allen Bradley) and Siemens SCADA; **Siemens DCS and Emerson DCS** (desirable). Direct Supervisor: FORTE Federico.
