Process Designer

Position Summary: Process Designer with experience in Oil & Gas to develop engineering documentation, calculate components, simulate processes, and ensure regulatory compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in multidisciplinary technical reviews OPS SRL, a construction company specializing in installations for the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking to hire a Process Designer with proven experience. Job Responsibilities: Develop basic and detailed engineering documentation: PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, equipment data sheets. Calculate and size piping, valves, pumps, heat exchangers, and other process system components. Perform simulations and calculations using specialized software (HYSYS, PipePhase, Instrucalc). Coordinate with piping, electrical, and instrumentation designers to ensure functional compatibility of the design. Ensure compliance with technical standards and client policies. Propose improvements to optimize energy efficiency, operational efficiency, and safety. Participate in multidisciplinary technical reviews and provide field support when required. Requirements: Education: Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering degree. Experience: More than 2 years in industrial process design, preferably within engineering and construction firms serving the Oil & Gas sector. Technical Knowledge: Process simulation software (HYSYS, PipePhase, Instrucalc). API and ASME standards. Advanced interpretation of P&IDs. Desired Competencies: Systemic vision and results orientation. Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration. Accuracy in calculations and version control.
