Integration with modern systems and APIs **Title:** COBOL Developer (Hybrid) **Company:** International payment processor **Location:** Hybrid model (2 days in office / 3 days remote) **About the Position** We are looking for a **COBOL Developer** with at least 5 years of verifiable professional experience in companies to join an international company in the **payments industry**. This role is critical for maintaining and evolving high-criticality core transactional systems. **Responsibilities** * Development and maintenance of COBOL applications * Support and evolution of critical legacy systems * Analysis and resolution of production incidents * Optimization of batch and online processes * Integration with modern systems and APIs * Collaboration with technical and functional teams **Requirements** * \+5 years of verifiable professional experience as a COBOL Developer (in companies) * Experience with high-availability transactional systems * Knowledge of mainframe environments (JCL, CICS, DB2 or others) * Experience with batch and online processes * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in production environments * Proficiency in version control and adherence to best practices * Fluent Spanish * English **desirable** (technical reading) **Desirable** * Experience in the payments/fintech industry * Knowledge of integrations with modern systems * Experience in legacy system migrations or modernization * Familiarity with agile methodologies **Work Model** * Hybrid: 2 days in office \+ 3 days remote Salary: $3\.000\.000,00 \- $5\.000\.000,00 per month Application Questions: * Describe the most relevant systems you have worked on using COBOL.
