You will deliver Python web services and background processing, shape data lakes and medallion layers, and deploy on Microsoft Azure with solid CI/CD practices—apply now. **Responsibilities** * Develop, tune, and maintain Python backend services and background jobs with FastAPI * Build and support data processing workflows using Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB * Design and roll out data architectures including data lakes, medallion layers, and star schemas * Implement and administer CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions * Deploy and operate Azure solutions with Container Apps, Azure Storage, Service Bus, and SignalR * Author infrastructure definitions using Bicep or alternatives such as AWS CDK or Terraform * Use GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to accelerate and improve code delivery * Collaborate with data and development teams to improve scalability and overall performance * Solve complex data engineering problems while following industry best practices * Monitor services and troubleshoot issues to keep systems reliable **Requirements** * Strong Python experience (3\+ years) building web services and background jobs using FastAPI * Hands\-on expertise with Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB for data processing tasks * Solid background in data architectures such as medallion layers, data lakes, and star schemas * Proven track record using GitHub Actions to run CI/CD workflows * Practical knowledge of Azure services including Container Apps, Service Bus, SignalR, and Azure Storage * Experience with infrastructure\-as\-code tools like Bicep, with AWS CDK or Terraform skills considered transferable * Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to support modern development practices * English proficiency of at least B2 (Upper\-Intermediate) for effective communication **Nice to have** * Exposure to orchestration and transformation tools such as Airflow, dbt, and Streamlit * Knowledge of distributed processing, asynchronous workflows, and enterprise messaging patterns * Experience with Snowflake, including stored procedures, streams, tasks, pipes, and time travel functionality * Ability in .NET web development for legacy frontend systems implemented in .NET Core * Web development experience with Angular or Next.js
