Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced kitchen assistant to provide operational support, cleaning, and food preparation, ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly. Key Highlights: 1. Food Preparation: Wash and peel fruits and vegetables - Cut and chop ingredients - Prepare basic sauces, dressings or simple doughs - Organize containers at the workstation so the head chef has everything within reach. 2. Maintenance and Cleaning: Wash dishes, cutlery and glassware Clean work areas, countertops and cutting boards consistently to prevent cross-contamination. Keep floors clean and free of debris during service. Remove trash and recycle waste according to venue regulations. 3. Receiving and Inventory Management Receive supplier deliveries, verifying that product quantity and quality match delivery notes. Report shortages of supplies to avoid stockouts. 4. Service Support During peak hours, the assistant may assist with: Basic plating: Placing side dishes or final decorative elements.
