We are currently looking for a Procurement Coordinator to lead the procurement function, with a strong focus on cost optimization, process standardization, and strategic supplier development. Position Objective Ensure efficient and competitive supply, reducing operational costs without compromising quality standards, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, and strengthening a strategic supplier network that supports business growth. Main Responsibilities Design and implement cost-reduction strategies for inputs and raw materials through comparative analysis, negotiation, and continuous review of commercial terms and improvement opportunities. Develop, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to improve pricing, quality, logistics conditions, and alternative supply options. Monitor and ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures, promoting traceability and administrative order. Coordinate the end-to-end procurement process: request for quotations, technical-economic analysis, purchase order issuance, and follow-up until warehouse receipt. Collaborate with Planning, Logistics, and Warehouse departments to anticipate requirements and prevent stockouts. Implement management indicators (KPIs) for the department: price variation, savings generated, delivery compliance, supplier performance. Present executive reports to Management, including deviation analysis, improvement opportunities, and joint proposals for optimization based on management indicators. Lead and develop the departmental team, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience leading Procurement/Supply Chain functions in the food industry, institutional gastronomy, HORECA, or retail. Demonstrable experience in strategic negotiation and cost reduction. Advanced proficiency in Excel and analytical tools. A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, or related fields will be valued. Key Competencies Strong analytical ability and orientation toward financial results.
