




Position Summary: General Procurement Analyst responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and executing purchases of goods and services, ensuring supply continuity and optimizing costs for the Health Insurance Organization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Evaluate and execute purchases of general goods and services. 2. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best cost-quality ratio. 3. Develop and update the supplier portfolio. OBRA SOCIAL UNIÓN PERSONAL is seeking a GENERAL PROCUREMENT ANALYST for its PROCUREMENT AND MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT. POSITION OBJECTIVE Evaluate, analyze, and execute the optimal procurement option for general goods and services—considering price, quality, delivery timelines, and financing terms—to ensure supply of required goods and services for internal customers, supporting the normal operation of the Health Insurance Organization, its hospitals, and medical centers. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Procure supplies, materials, equipment, and various services. Negotiate with suppliers and ensure the best cost-to-quality ratio. Monitor the status of purchase orders with suppliers. Efficiently resolve urgent procurement requests to meet extraordinary needs, complying with established bidding procedures. Develop and update the supplier portfolio. Analyze, research, and advise internal customers on products and services to optimize costs. Follow up and file claims with suppliers regarding agreed deliveries of supplies and services. Prepare quotations and report them to relevant internal departments. Request product samples from suppliers when appropriate. Monitor, maintain, and update required information and documentation related to suppliers. Advise, analyze, and propose alternative suppliers for assigned categories. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Results-oriented, Collaborative work, Customer orientation, Communication, Commitment. REQUIREMENTS Prior experience in similar positions, handling high-volume procurement, for over 3 years. Excellent negotiation skills. Ability to work in teams. Results-oriented. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Education: preferably Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Accounting, Engineering, or related fields; advanced studies or completed degree. IT Tools: Advanced Excel proficiency and knowledge of management systems.
