Job Summary: Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP solutions ensuring technical quality and scalability, with a forward-looking vision toward Clean Core and modern architectures, supporting the transformation to S/4HANA. Collaboration in initiatives involving new technologies such as BTP and cloud services Role Purpose Design, develop, and implement solutions on SAP (primarily ABAP), ensuring technical quality, scalability, and integration with other systems, with a forward-looking vision toward architecture and best practices (Clean Core, decoupling, extensibility). The role is not limited to development; technical judgment is expected to evolve solutions and support the transformation toward S/4HANA and more modern architectures. Key Responsibilities Develop ABAP solutions (reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, BADIs, user\-exits). Analyze technical and functional requirements, proposing efficient and sustainable solutions. Design integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, OData services, files, etc.). Participate in the evolution of the SAP landscape toward more decoupled models (avoiding unnecessary Z-overload). Optimize existing code and reduce technical debt. Ensure technical quality (performance, traceability, reusability). Collaborate on technical definitions alongside functional, Basis, and integration teams. Document technical solutions. Support improvement initiatives related to automation and operational efficiency. Responsibilities with Focus on Evolution (Key for This Profile) Understand the impact of developments on a future migration to S/4HANA. **Participate in design decisions oriented toward:** Clean Core Extensibility Decoupling (events, APIs, etc.) Propose improvements to current integrations (especially limitations of existing middleware). Collaborate in initiatives involving new technologies (BTP, cloud services, automation). Requirements \+3 years of experience in ABAP development. **Experience in:** ALV Reports Enhancements (BADI, user\-exit) Interfaces (IDoc, RFC, Web Services) Knowledge of SAP modules (FI, MM, SD – at least one in depth). Experience in debugging and performance analysis. Proficiency in SQL / Open SQL. Technical Requirements (Desirable) **Experience or knowledge in:** OData / SAP Gateway REST APIs Integrations without PI (direct or decoupled) Basic understanding of SAP architecture. Exposure to SAP BTP (even conceptual). Experience in S/4HANA migration or preparation projects. Knowledge of other programming languages (JavaScript, Python, etc.).
