




Position Summary: We are seeking a Sysadmin to configure and manage critical infrastructure, resolve hardware and software issues, and provide professional technical support. Key Highlights: 1. Key role in configuring and managing critical infrastructure. 2. Resolution of diverse technical issues (hardware, software, networks). 3. Responsible for following departmental procedures and policies. We are looking to fill the Sysadmin role at our IT consulting firm. Responsibilities: The position aims to configure and manage critical infrastructure within the company. This includes communication with both technical and non-technical staff, using our ticketing system, resolving hardware, software, installation, printing, and related issues. Additional tasks may be assigned as required. The technician will be responsible for following departmental procedures and policies. Profile Requirements: Provide courteous, friendly, and professional technical assistance through all channels—telephone, electronic, or in person—resolving cases escalated by the consulting firm’s helpdesk; if resolution is not feasible, ensure vendor management of such cases. Document interactions with customers, vendors, and staff according to procedures within our systems. Be capable of researching inquiries and issues using available information resources both inside and outside our knowledge database, and continuously contribute to it. Required Knowledge: Virtualization on VMware / KVM platforms. Installation, configuration, operation, and administration of Windows XP/7/8/10/11/Server 2008/2012/2016/2019/2022 operating systems, including Active Directory, File Servers, Print Servers, shared resources, and NTFS permissions. Troubleshooting across all OSI layers, structured cabling, etc. Intermediate English level: comprehension and writing. Installation, configuration, operation, and administration of Linux operating systems, SSH. Management of MySQL and MSSQL databases, including backups, recovery, and data import/export. In-depth proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Installation and maintenance of drivers, printers, and various peripherals (local and networked). Administration of TCP/IP networks, DNS, DHCP, network protocols, and configuration of connectivity devices. Desirable Knowledge: Configuration and administration of hosting control panels (cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, Webmin), as well as Apache. Structured cabling for data, telephony, and analog/digital CCTV video: design and implementation (knowledge of cabling standards and categories, use of measurement equipment). Load balancing, traffic shaping, IDS, IPS.
