The Storage Engineer will be responsible for the design, certification, and engineering of on-premises storage solutions (NetApp, PMAX, Isilon) for enterprise environments. The role involves lifecycle management, access administration, and automation of storage solutions while adhering to architectural standards and compliance frameworks. **What Challenges Await You**: * Design, strategy, and certification of on-premises storage platforms (NetApp, PMAX, Isilon) * Management and maintenance of storage administration tools (e.g., BlueXP) * Collaboration with architecture and operations teams for lifecycle management, capacity planning, and optimization * Ensuring compliance with security standards and access management (AD groups, Priv ID) * Creating and maintaining documentation, engineering templates, and certification processes for new hardware and solutions * Optimization of storage and virtualization in data centers, including capacity forecasting and scalability planning (aligned with PI objectives) * Evaluating new technologies and recommending renewal cycles to maintain compliance with vendor lifecycle standards (EOL/EOSL) * Assessing and recommending vendors/models, and participating in the certification and testing of new hardware in on-premises deployments * Developing a strong understanding of client environments, engineering tools, and processes to ensure alignment with organizational structure and ways of working.
