In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Perform diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of PCs, laptops, and peripherals used by faculty and administrative staff, laboratories, and classrooms. Assemble, configure, and upgrade desktop and portable equipment. Provide on-site and remote technical support for hardware and basic software failures. Manage stock and inventory of equipment and spare parts. Log incidents in the ticketing system and track them until resolution. Coordinate with suppliers for repairs and warranty claims. What do we require? You must have: Proven experience in technical support with a focus on hardware (minimum 1 year). Knowledge of PC and laptop diagnostics and repair (component replacement, cleaning, upgrades). Proficiency in Windows 11/Linux, OS and driver installation. Basic networking knowledge: connectivity, Wi-Fi, first-level diagnostics. Remote access tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP). An organized, proactive profile with strong user-focused attention. Residence in San Fernando or nearby areas (mandatory). Desirable: Experience in institutional-scale preventive and corrective maintenance. Knowledge of Active Directory / Azure AD. Proficiency in networked printers and multifunction devices. IT certifications (CompTIA A+ or similar). Currently pursuing a related degree.
