Job Summary: Technically lead the GOC squad, defining transition architectures, evolving the cloud-native architecture on AWS, and mentoring the team on new technologies. Key Highlights: 1. Active mentoring and team development in modern technologies Technically lead the GOC squad and integrations with the core legacy system, defining the transition architecture between systems being replaced and new platforms. Work in tandem with the other Tech Lead as a cross-squad technical reference, challenging each other on architectural decisions and elevating the team’s technical level. Define and evolve the cloud-native architecture on AWS (Lambda, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, ECS). Technically lead the squad and oversee integrations with the core legacy system. Work as a peer technical partner with other Tech Leads, mutually reviewing cross-squad architectural decisions. Define the migration/coexistence strategy between legacy systems and new platforms. Establish development standards, code review practices, and technical debt management with metrics (coverage, cycle time, deployment frequency). Provide technical oversight of the consulting squad to ensure alignment with internal architecture. Mentor the core team on new technologies and modern engineering practices. Collaborate with Product Owners on technical backlog definition and effort estimation. Requirements **Advanced software architecture:** microservices, event-driven architecture, serverless, REST/GraphQL APIs, and resilience patterns (circuit breaker, retry, DLQ). * Advanced AWS: Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, S3, Step Functions, Secrets Manager. * DevOps & tooling: CI/CD (Azure DevOps pipelines), Docker, Serverless Framework, IaC (Terraform or AWS CDK). **Languages:** TypeScript / Node.js as primary. Python desirable (AI) and .NET for legacy integrations. **Observability:** CloudWatch, X-Ray, SLI/SLO dashboards, and performance tuning. **AWS security:** IAM, encryption, and handling of sensitive data. **Migration experience:** leadership in migrations or coexistence between legacy systems and modern platforms. AWS certification (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer). Desirable but not mandatory. Experience with mission-critical systems / 24x7 operations. Knowledge of Amazon Connect / contact center.
