Business Data Scientist - Marketing

A SONG Analytics-oriented profile is someone with functional knowledge of Marketing as well as machine learning models aimed at generating value and insights through customer understanding. They must have analytical thinking and be familiar with the analytical methods used to address various business use cases, along with strong problem-solving abilities. The Applied Intelligence area focused on SONG covers all types of solutions related to end consumers. Therefore, it is essential that the SONG profile understands the key concepts required to deliver solutions aimed at solving problems or simply adding value, while considering the specific requirements of different proposals. This is a curious profile that seeks root causes of problems and uses/proposes analytical tools to solve them using various techniques: ML, segmentation, optimization, etc. The candidate must possess knowledge and understanding of the different technical and functional stages within a data-driven project: from data acquisition and extraction from various sources, validation, manipulation, cleaning, and transformation, ultimately leading to the development of a data model capable of meeting client needs. The subsequent stage of validating and demonstrating value contribution is critical to engaging the client. *Summary*: * Functional knowledge of Marketing. * Analytical capability aimed at delivering insights. * Development and implementation of high-performing analytical solutions. * Clear and concise presentation of results. Role Responsibilities Below are some of the responsibilities a SONG profile within the BDS team may carry out daily as part of a project team. * Coordinate execution of tasks within a small team, ensuring timely and proper delivery. In case of delays, must feel comfortable reporting setbacks and creating contingency plans. * Collaborate with experts across various domains such as optimization, machine learning, simulation, UX, etc. * Interpret client requirements in order to estimate time and effort required for task development. This estimation should consider available data, the impact of the requirement on the existing model, and potential effects on model output.
