Main Responsibilities and Functions: Managing work schedules for staff within the department. Placing orders and sourcing suppliers/producers. Creating and costing menus, recipe books, and technical specifications. Inventory management. Collaborating with the purchasing department to ensure availability of required supplies. Training staff according to techniques developed for the menu. Understanding proper storage organization and enforcing its operation and cleanliness. Leading, organizing, and training motivated teams. Fostering autonomy and proactivity within the assigned team. Overseeing kitchen management processes. Planning, coordinating, and supervising daily kitchen operations. Leading, training, and organizing the work team. Monitoring costs, inventory, purchases, and waste. Preparing operational reports and tracking using Excel. Ensuring compliance with quality, hygiene, and food safety standards. Developing and optimizing gastronomic processes and offerings. Coordinating with other departments to guarantee efficient service. Requirements: Advanced culinary education. Availability and flexibility regarding working hours. Operational organization and ability to manage priorities. Minimum verifiable experience of 5 years in similar positions within the gastronomy industry.
