Ensure packaged materials are available. Verify that appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is available and that other safety procedures are understood and followed. Seek supervisor assistance if needed. * Ensure the line is correctly configured per filling and packaging instructions. Adjust the line as required or request support from the Supervisor or Maintenance Technician. * Continuously operate filling and packaging equipment. Equipment types may include sleeve labelers, tape machines, barcode coders, inkjet printers, manual wrenches, hand seals, palletizers, and lid presses, among others. Adjust equipment to control weight, closures, or other parameters as specified. * Perform all line operations, including empty-container loading lines, labeling, filling, capping, barcode generation, sampling, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and other related activities. * Actively participate in Kaizen, 5S, and special projects. * Continuously identify opportunities to eliminate waste from systems and processes. * Accurately and promptly complete and document quality and productivity measurements. This may include weighing items and conducting basic quality tests. Enter results manually or via computer. * Complete packaging and filling tasks meeting or exceeding standards. * Assist with line changeovers, including collecting wash water. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment. **Position Details:** * Plant location: CITIES/AREA * Work schedule: DETAILS (including weekend rotation, if applicable) * Compensation package offered: DETAILS **Essential Requirements:** * High school diploma or equivalent. * Minimum one year of plant or warehouse experience. * Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers, fractions, percentages, and decimals). * No immigration sponsorship available for this role. **Physical Demands:** * Ability to lift and carry up to 22 kg. * Pass drug screening and physical examination. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Ability to complete job-required training and develop necessary skills (e.g., DOT and Hazardous Materials Safety training). * Ability to understand and track safety, quality, and productivity data. * Mechanical aptitude. * Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and continuous improvement systems. * Attention to detail, communication skills, and teamwork.
