




Wood expresses its interest in hiring a Document Controller to work on engineering projects to join the Process and Chemicals business unit. This opportunity is based in a technical office located in Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina. The overall objective is to verify through documentation that the system is designed and constructed to fulfill its purpose and specific requirements. Provides commissioning technical information to the design process to ensure startup and operational safety are considered in the design, and that all phases of initial startup (including unique special procedures) are adequately covered in the design. Specifically, defining systems and system delivery sequences, and ensuring pre-commissioning of process units has been considered. * Provides technical information to ensure safe and orderly handover of the facility/plant from the construction contractor to the owner or operator, demonstrating operability in terms of performance, reliability, safety, and information traceability. * Work with engineers and vendors during design phases to align delivery and commissioning activities. * Participate in design workshops that may assist in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities. * Attend risk reviews and P\&ID model reviews. * Review cause and effect diagrams and spare parts orders. * Prepare and present commissioning records documentation (close-out) during the project, in accordance with the documentation plan. * Preparation of project documentation, including pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures. * Create and execute test procedures. * Troubleshoot, investigate issues, diagnose and repair faults. * Supervise certain on-site commissioning activities as appropriate, including P\&ID verification (system check/walkdown/flush), mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, cold commissioning (dry/wet), hot commissioning. * Assist and participate in pre-startup safety reviews with the client and construction contractor (and PMC and licensor as applicable). * Interact with operations teams during commissioning, startup, and final handover of the facility/plant. * Be a positive role model for health, safety, and environmental (HSE) behavior on site. * Adequate level of experience in commissioning within the relevant industrial sector. * Good general computer literacy. * Fully familiar with technical knowledge of the discipline. * Proven experience in interpreting discipline documentation. * Ability to monitor work progress and report against plan. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Sound judgment and reasoning ability. * Ability to think methodically and solve problems. * Good time management and ability to multitask; capable of maintaining an overview of multiple project elements while handling daily activities. * Ability to drive cultural change when necessary. * Confidence to work under pressure, able to adapt quickly to deal with unexpected issues. * Uphold Wood's values and behaviors.
