**Job Summary:** The HR Business Partner will help create a people-centered culture that drives business results. Provides leadership and expert advice on human resources matters to both management and employees. Contribute to the selection process for managerial hires and other key decisions. * Support onboarding of new hires and facilitate orientation programs. * Approve written actions related to employees, including performance improvement plans and progressive disciplinary actions; request further review from the * Employee Experience and Legal Department as needed. * Investigate complaints and claims related to disciplinary actions, protecting confidentiality and sensitivity of investigation details. * Support employee engagement initiatives at the site level, including survey participation; drive accountability from employees and managers in plans to monitor and improve engagement. * Provide initial guidance to managers on compensation matters (e.g., salary adjustments, promotions, etc.) and benefits requests (e.g., expatriate transfers/additional benefits); refer to appropriate HR and business owners for final approval. * Advise managers on the implementation of the continuous performance management process and influence improvement in compliance and effectiveness. * Ensure achievement of performance culture goals by actively promoting strong performance differentiation with manager support. * Responsible for all processing of employment documentation in accordance with local labor requirements, including support of outsourcing. * Knowledge of HR policies and practices, labor requirements, and employment legislation. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives exercising sound judgment and flexibility. * Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization. * Contribute to a culture that puts people first and inspire leaders to operate with a business mindset. * Maintain unwavering safety and quality expectations. * Enhance the HR brand within Flowserve with high-quality products and solutions that drive business results. * Other duties as assigned. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 8-10 years of relevant experience. * Fluency in English and Portuguese. * Ability to leverage HR data to support conversations with business partners. * Previous experience in coaching and managing change management programs. * Experience working with manufacturing, engineering, or sales teams. * Experience with Workday. * Ability to influence others on proposed actions, being firm yet diplomatic at the same time. * Willingness to travel as necessary.
