Expertise/Seniority Level: **Semi-Senior** #### **Job Responsibilities** The SAP ABAP Functional Consultant will be responsible for managing and optimizing the development and maintenance of applications using the ABAP programming language within the SAP environment. Key duties include analyzing and resolving incidents, queries, issues, configurations, and addressing service requests: #### **Implementation Projects: SAP ABAP Functional Consultants** ABAP professionals with experience in development and integrations, technical specification workshops, programming and coding of solutions, unit testing, support during Production Upgrade (PU), go-live activities, post-implementation support, direct interaction with end clients, and creation/consultation of OSS notes. #### **Corrective/Evolutionary Maintenance: SAP ABAP Functional Consultants** ABAP professionals supporting incident analysis and assistance, development of enhancements, handling of priorities and service-level agreements. For some projects, on-call shifts (passive and/or active) and specific service hours may be required. For minor evolutionary changes: conduct requirement gathering, prepare technical specifications, collaborate with functional teams or other departments, perform unit testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage go-live activities. #### **Key Responsibilities** * Development and management of ABAP applications. * Analyze and resolve incidents and issues, and perform ABAP code adjustments in SAP. * Collaborate with other teams to optimize technical and functional processes. * Participate in daily stand-up meetings and handle ABAP-related tickets. * Lead the definition and execution of SAP ABAP application enhancements and updates. * Provide support and training to end users and technical teams on ABAP topics. * Thoroughly document all SAP processes and developments. #### **Required Competencies and Skills** * Proven experience in SAP ABAP development and management. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Capability to lead projects and coordinate efforts across multiple teams. * Advanced English proficiency (minimum CEFR level B2). * Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities. #### **Mandatory Requirements** * Prior hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and management. * Advanced English for communication and comprehension of technical documentation. * Autonomous capability to efficiently manage projects.
