Finning, Caterpillar’s strategic partner and leader in equipment distribution and services, is seeking top talent to fill the role of Mechanical Technicians at its Mendoza branch. The Mechanical Technician is responsible for diagnosing major components and systems, performing major repairs, and coordinating work execution. The role is carried out either in the workshop or in the field, as required. The Technician supports the supervisor and may make decisions of moderate responsibility. Key responsibilities include: Placing spare parts orders. Using and operating electronic tools. Evaluating, calibrating, and adjusting key engine components and electrical systems. Testing and diagnosing machine issues, including AT1 and AT2 inspections (visual, technical, and operational). Removing and installing any type of component. Operating and inspecting machines after repair. Making critical adjustments to the machine and its systems. Installing new components and additional accessories. Required Qualifications: Technical secondary or higher education, specializing in automotive mechanics, electronics, or electricity. Minimum 3 years’ experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
