You'll own and evolve the Atlassian ecosystem, partnering closely with business and IT stakeholders to design workflows, optimize processes, and ensure Jira and Confluence are best\-in\-class tools for the teams. It is a hands\-on, senior\-level role that combines platform administration, configuration, and lightweight development. **Requirements** ---------------- * 5–7 years of hands\-on experience as a Jira Administrator and/or Developer. * Strong knowledge of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence (Cloud and/or Data Center). * Proven experience designing complex Jira workflows, permission schemes, and screen configurations. * Experience working with Jira REST APIs and webhooks for custom integrations. * Hands\-on experience developing and deploying Jira plugins and custom gadgets. * Strong knowledge of JQL (Jira Query Language) for advanced reporting and dashboard creation. * Familiarity with XML, JSON, and REST API concepts. * Experience with Atlassian Marketplace plugin evaluation and lifecycle management. * Ability to document technical configurations and write clear runbooks. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. * Excellent skills for stakeholder communication; be comfortable presenting to both technical and non\-technical audiences. * Self\-directed and organized individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment. * Collaborative mindset with a continuous improvement focus. **Responsibilities** -------------------- * Gather business requirements and translate them into optimized Jira and Confluence configurations. * Create and manage Jira projects, issue types, screens, workflows, permission schemes, and notification schemes. * Design and implement Jira workflows and screen schemes for complex, high\-impact initiatives. * Evaluate, test, install, and configure Jira and Confluence plugins; manage licensing requirements. * Support end\-users across the organization with Jira and Confluence usage and best practices. * Leverage Jira APIs and webhooks to build integrations with external tools and automate workflows. * Develop and maintain custom XML\-based Jira gadgets and dashboard components. * Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and queries (JQL) tailored to team and leadership needs. * Generate comprehensive documentation on workflows, configurations, and processes to support runbooks. * Respond to platform incidents, investigate root causes, and implement resolutions. * Identify and drive continuous improvements to Jira/Confluence to enhance adoption and efficiency. **We offer** ------------ * US and EU projects based on advanced technologies. * Competitive compensation based on skills and experience. * Comprehensive private medical insurance. * Regular performance appraisals to support your growth. * Flexibility in workspace, either remote, our welcoming office or local coworking. * Bonuses for recommendations of new employees. * Bonuses for article writing, public talks, other activities. * 15 vacation days, 10 national holidays, 10 sick leaves. * Personalized learning program tailored to your interests and skill development. * Free tech webinars and meetups organized by Svitla. * Fun corporate online\\offline celebrations and activities. * Well\-established remote culture. * Awesome team, friendly and supportive community! **Why join Svitla** ------------------- Svitla Systems is a global digital solutions company headquartered in the U.S. and operating across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and APAC.
