Alimenta y Florece is a five-year initiative aiming to support over 44,000 students in the departments of San Miguel and Morazán through the provision of nutritious school meals, support for infrastructure rehabilitation, empowering local communities to decentralize school feeding, promoting local food production, and strengthening local economies. The Information Technology (IT) Assistant or Coordinator will support the setup and maintenance of IT equipment and systems for the Alimenta y Florece program, including hardware, software, networks, data storage, and security across its two offices. Reporting to the Human Resources and Administration Officer and supervised by Counterpart’s IT team based in the U.S., the IT Assistant or Coordinator will help optimize technical performance, system security, and integrity to ensure smooth operations of local offices and continuous protection of Counterpart’s digital ecosystem.
